Before STEM,
there's a SEED

Before career pathways, before workforce readiness, before STEM, students must believe their story has value. That belief starts with a SEED.

So, what is SEED?

SEED is the heart of our framework. It's how we deliver hope through stories that move students and partnerships that spark real change. Because better futures start with a SEED.

Our Four H's for Success

SEED is the belief. The Four H's put that belief into action. Together, they shape every program we offer and how we help students move forward.

Hope

Stories Matter

It starts with belief. We help students see the value in their story, recognize what's possible, and imagine a bigger future for themselves.

II · Sprout

Help

Ask/Get Help

No one succeeds alone. We connect students with people, resources, and opportunities that can help them move forward.

III · Seedling

Hustle

Do What it Takes

Belief needs action. Students learn that effort, ownership, and discipline create momentum and move their future forward.

IV · Tree

Just Be You

Students learn to lead with authenticity and courage, recognizing the value of who they are and what they've experienced.

Where It Started

Born into poverty in Mexico, undocumented and uncertain of her future, Martha Niño Rodriguez defied the odds. Expelled from high school and without direction, she leaned on hope, help, hustle, and heart.

With the support of "believers," Martha rose through Silicon Valley over 25 years, becoming part of the 2% of Latinas in tech. One speaking opportunity awakened her purpose and changed everything.

Martha discovered that stories are more than experiences shared – they are tools for healing.

When we speak the truth of where we've been and what we've survived, stories create connection, restore hope, and remind us that healing is possible.

Now a TEDx speaker, author of The Other Side: From a Shack to Silicon Valley, and founder of The Martha Niño Foundation, Martha is on a mission to inspire others through the power of our stories.
