Martha Niño, Founder of the Martha Niño Foundation

Founder & Executive Director

Martha Niño Rodriguez

Martha is a storyteller and former Silicon Valley tech leader with a 25 year career whose journey from poverty to the tech industry sparked a movement. After breaking cycles in her own life, she made it her mission to help students do the same through the power of storytelling.

In 2019, a fourteen minute keynote sharing her experience of growing up undocumented and in poverty became a turning point. She later published The Other Side: From a Shack to Silicon Valley, and a quiet offer to donate books at her celebration led to the creation of The Martha Niño Foundation.

Today, that spark lives through Book Fairy Storytelling programs, placing free books directly into the hands of students and activating SEED, Storytelling Empowers Educational Determination, in schools. Thousands of students have been impacted.

Her work is guided by the 4H framework: Hope. Help. Hustle. Heart. Because before students pursue college or careers, they must first believe their story has value.

Cofounder

Ineke Boscarino

Ineke Boscarino brings nearly 20 years of experience as an educator and operations director for both an educational nonprofit and a private corporation. Her career has been shaped by a deep commitment to educational equity - for first-generation students, under-resourced racial groups, and any young person who lacks the connections and resources to make informed decisions about their future.

Ineke's work is driven by a simple belief: no student should be held back by what they don't know or haven't seen. She is committed to breaking the barriers that exist for youth impacted by educational inequities and ensuring they have the mentorship, exposure, and support to chart their own path.

As cofounder of the Martha Niño Foundation, Ineke brings operational expertise and an educator's perspective to every program - ensuring that what the foundation delivers isn't just inspiring, but practical, scalable, and grounded in real classroom needs.
